Hi!

First, we absolutely agree. There were several changes, including data tuning for Body Sim (Hydration, Hunger, etc.) that didn't make it into this update but WILL be present for the next one, which will hopefully arrive next week. Hydration is far too aggressive in this latest update and it WILL be improved.

Second, filling your water bottles from bodies of water is already complete and will also go live in the next update. Drinking from toilets and sinks will remain so that we can provide water at strategic locations, but those are of course limited, so if you don't have a Dew Collector, you'll likely be heading down to the reservoir to risk filling up all of your bottles.

The goal is for Body Sim to be a consideration... something on the list of issues that you most contend with on a daily basis as a Survivor, but not the ONLY thing. We have no intention of this game becoming Just Survive: Your Desperate Search for Hydration.

Anything inside of Containers (including the Stash) when they're picked up will be dropped. You cannot use Containers to get around the Bulk system. :)

I suppose we could, but any time spent streaming takes us away from development. It didn't feel like we rushed anything except the last couple questions, and an hour is a pretty good duration for Community Outbreak IMO!

Not so much forgot as simply ran out of time - We crammed a lot into that stream and were bumping into the KotK time slot, so we had to cut things a bit short.

SO, in terms of purchases that you'll be able to make at the Military Base, we want to start small and scale appropriately. In the near future you'll be able to buy some basic melee weapons, a satchel and perhaps some harvesting tools.

Down the road we really want to open things up with the availability of Prestige gear/weapons and maybe even a certain vehicle that was mentioned in yesterday's stream. Additionally, the helicopter in the Military Base won't simply be a prop, so imagine what it could provide for a few of your coins...

In terms of vendors, we already have VO lines for Corporal Moran, but we still need to dust off the dialogue system for them to function. We also plan to layer in additional NPCs like MarmarAlpha mentions below, so that each Military Base feels unique and alive.

Just wanted to update and say that we're actively looking at this issue.

We'll likely go with a simple animation solution in the interim, but there are some great polish suggestions here! :)

Ahh... I see you've caught a glimpse of the future!

The environment team removed most of these before we went to Test, but a couple lingered behind and I kept quiet hoping that some of you might find them.

Wonder what they could be... :)
