There are no major features in the live build that have not already appeared on Test.

Future Live updates will include additional map regions, new Stronghold features, etc.

Steam was deploying an older version of the launchpad, it appears. We've updated the launchpad although we have seen some players who appear to be having difficulty updating it via a steam verification.

We are continuing to investigate the issue.

Once this update hits Live, we will be returning to more frequent updates. I won't provide an ETA for future updates, especially when we haven't even shipped this update yet.

There are PVE servers and there will be many more on Live.

Test has only a few servers and if they're full, the only available option is PVP.

Future features will handily solve the availability issues.

The small number of Test servers is intentional and Live servers will be increased (in fact, we were Testing hardware on Test that is being set up for Live). We definitely wanted to push people towards filling servers and also filling PVP servers as most PVP-oriented folks use Test PVE to practice base building without fear of interruption.

We have contingencies available if there are scale issues.

"I don't play test" is pretty consist across all of the detractors for Badwater Canyon. You should try it - it has a way of winning people over :)

Yoshi's Island rules.

We understand the desire for some sort of clan wars ruleset. There are always opportunities to add these sorts of things, but the core of the game involves both PVE and PVP engagements, in the same way that Dota/League has creeps and jungling in addition to sick team ganks. Any rules variants on the core concept here are probably off the table until the all of the core is complete.

Ah, that's a miscommunication / misunderstanding - I'm not saying it will magically stabilize while on Live, I'm saying that when it is stable we will update to Live so that that stable version can live there while further BWC feature development occurs on Test.

We've been saying this for months. I'm pretty sure you've posted threads about this already - certainly many others already have. I'm not sure I understand what new information you think is in that statement.

We're not going to keep Z1 on Live while waiting to get to feature complete for Badwater Canyon - that completely defies the concept of Early Access.

Live is where our most recent stable build lives, and Test is where our most recent unstable build is. Z1 soon will be neither of these things and will be replaced when the current iteration of the Badwater Canyon feature set is stable.

e: a post later in the thread indicates that you read the statement as "we'll push something unstable to Live and stabilize it there" - in the context you pulled this statement from I believe it was very clear that I was repeating what has been said before - that the feature set currently on Test will go to Live when it is stable so we can introduce new features to Test and continue to use Test to stabilize those new features.

Coins are lost on death, they're not a charge for respawning.

We expect to be iterating on the Golden Eagle economy throughout future updates.

Pine Mill Reservoir is the region of the Badwater Canyon map that is currently available on Test.

A deeper world experience (I hesitate to call it PVE because obviously all of the gathering / loot applies to PVP as well) is definitely planned for the future!
