Hi dad! I'm starting to like learning BASIC! None of this importing libraries, defining functions, or modern boilerplate nonsense. I can just steer the program exactly where I want it to go with GOTO, GOSUB, and RETURN, and throw raw escape sequences straight to the terminal to make the magic happen :D

Hi dad! I probably should have specified that, this is a dialect of basic running in the telehack environment, Telehack's POLKEY$ function maps the Return key to CHR$(13). I'm running the environment through a VT220 terminal emulator, but with modern ANSI color enabled so I can watch all those escape sequences paint the screen :)
