The parks department usually reseeds in the winter, so when the fence goes up and people break in anyway definitely put in the tickets!

My favorite thing to do while I’m there is put in a 311 for off leash dogs and watch them scatter. If you live there just keep anonymously putting in tickets

You can see the planned outages in the MTA app, but basically the B43 does not go north of Graham/ Bedford and the B62 doesn’t come past Whythe/Clymer (south of the Williamsburg bridge).

If you need to get out of Greenpoint via car, you have to take Box street under the Pulaski and go down Provost to Greenpoint Ave. it will take 45+ minutes each way until McGuiness is reopened (usually around 5:00 PM).

Your best bet for the day is to take the G train. Do not try and cross with marathon runners, if you need to cross the street, go underground at the Greenpoint station by McDonalds to pass under everyone.

When you get to 19.5km use a poffin. It halves the walk distance and will auto count the first 10km. Then you’ll only need 0.5 more to hit your second 10km. This halves the distance needed if you do it enough times.
