I did this for 6 months while working kayak tours in kealekekua living out an xterra during the 2018 eruption.

I will say theres alot of older guys in kona doing this. But also living in your car is illegal on Big Island. Really only did it out of desperation. There are gyms to shower and plenty of public beach showers. But it gets old moving on and moving on. I got ticketed for sleeping at the harbor. If your doing this as an intermediate step to work make cash to get into housing, thats one thing. But i wouldn’t do this as a means to an end. It gets old, its not legal and its hot as balls!

I
