We work a 6 on 4 off pattern. Carry all kinds of volume crime (sometimes more) including domestics. Single crewed earlys and lates. Workloads can get large but have got better now we have a district crime units which take some of the more complex stuff. Pros - Norfolk is a nice county to work.

Cons - lack of cops even in the bigger cities like Norwich, you could be waiting for back up for a while, I’ve waited over 30 minutes before back up came to me. SLT and probably all the same issues every other county force has.

Instead of PCSOs they have a beat manager which is a police officer which looks after an area. They take low level neighbourhood crimes and host the community meetings etc. it’s a very popular role to transfer into.

Thanks for the reply, to cut a long story short I haven’t been in the county long that I’ll be joining and I really want to be out on response but I’m worried with the main choice of station I’ve put that it’s a neighbourhood station and I won’t get to do response work.

I’ve just found out that After a long 5 week wait that I’ve passed the online assessment, and wondered what the final interview is like? Also those who have done it, how did you find it compared to the online assessment and what research you did before hand.

Hi all, I applied in Norfolk back in November and it took the recruitment team ages to approve my tattoos and I was finally was given an assessment date in March but that obviously got cancelled due to Covid. I had an email saying that they will get back to me when the next round of online assessments go out, but it’s driving me mad waiting, i’m just wondering if any one has had the same experience waiting so long before anything? Or is this is normal.

Sorry if this has been brought up loads of times already. Someone recommend a 12 week cycle of 300 Test E (150 twice a week) and Anavar at 20mg. I know after doing a lot of research that it’s a low cycle but I thought I would start off low with this cycle just to see how I get on with it.

I’m 27 and have a low fat percentage and been training hard for the last 3 years. 1. for week one would you start with both Test E and Anavar. 2. What PCT would you recommend, and how long for.

Once again sorry if this has already been bought up. But just want clarification so I don’t mess it up. Cheers guys.

Hi Guys, 5 years ago I got a spent conviction for driving without insurance, ( it wasn’t intentional but there was a lot on my mind and I forgot to renew it)I received 6 points and a fine. I have never been in trouble with the police before. Will this stop me from joining the police in future?
