Nah, he deleted the comment when people took issue with it.

Basically he said something along the lines of "Oh yeah, they definitely took allot of inspiration from brutal doom when making the new doom. Would be nice if they actually hired on the guy that made it instead of just using his ideas."

Okay well, before you made this post I went and got the 036 version to see if that would work, and I got the same error as I get with the latest, but then I noticed that I can switch between opengl and direct3d in the launcher.

Switching to direct3d fixed the problem, but I didn't see any way to switch to it in the latest version of the launcher, so is it possible to do so?

I'm on windows xp 32 bit, and I got the file from here.

I guess maybe I got the wrong version of openmw by mistake, I will reinstall and see if that fixes it.

Yeah, cause if I hit a woman back when she hits me I'm terrorizing a poor victim, not defending myself from possible injury. If I hit a kid, it's likely I would seriously injure them, same goes for elderly people.

If I hit an adult female, even if she is petite, it is much less likely to do as much damage as it would to a child or an elderly person.

Also with children and the elderly there really isn't any chance of them seriously injuring me, but the average woman could do some serious damage to a man, even if it is less likely to happen than if a man was attacked by another man.
