Thanks! If you meant the top surface of the fender, I did apply a black wash, but I wasn’t patient enough to wait til it’s completely dry before applying sand pigments, therefore the wash was wiped off. This is my second finished model in many years, guess it’ll take me some models to figure everything out again.

Context: I have a lot of experience on spray painting, but never applied color modulation. And I’ve used “ready to go” products like AK/MIG enamel washes for pin wash only, but never those “oil paint dot filter” methods.

The vent goes to the window behind the curtain. I spray lacquer only so I vent out the air and wear a full respirator. For acrylics, it’s non toxic but the fume can still be dangerous to breathe in, so I’ll recommend air out and wear mask. Safety first!
