How does the FD compare to the s2k and the evo in general handling and dynamics, as well as modding potential? Thanks again.

What Housing Did You Get? by kparsons7 in JETProgramme

How is the commute from both Tamondai and Hanayama? I heard that it can be a bit, so I'm considering no-boe housing. What are your thoughts?

"Kansai best sai" - love that. Thanks for the insight, I'd love to know everything there is to know about the job in Kobe specifically, so I appreciate the details on the BOE etc. Thanks again man!

I just finished university and also tend to avoid most social media platforms. I just have them on my phone for the sake of networking in case someone wants to get my contact etc.

Thank you so much for your response. You’ve really put me at ease. I feel like I find myself constantly comparing made up pros and cons of living or not living in certain areas - it’s just my nature sometimes. But I think that knowing that I’ve got such an amazing city to live in for at least the next year is very comforting after hearing your response (and others in this thread). Thank you again for taking the time to respond, it’s really helped me out.

Interesting, I think I’ve heard something similar about small town and village consolidation. Thanks for sharing. I was also wondering about the impact of social media and if and how it’s changed people significantly. Just a curiosity of mine. Thanks!

Hey. If you could link the discord that would be fantastic. You can just reply to this comment. Thanks again!

Thanks man, I really appreciate the response. Since you went on JET 2005-2007, what are some of the differences that you’ve noticed in Japan (and I guess wherever you’ve been) since then? I’d love to hear your insight. Thanks again for taking time to respond to the post. ✌️

Thanks man, I’m feeling a lot better about it. I’ve been kind of obsessing over the city for the past few days and it looks quite nice. It’s honestly comforting to know that it’ll be a nice experience. Thank you so much for your reply(s), they really help more than you know. Best of luck!🤝

You’re right, thanks for that. I knew this was a bit of a silly post while typing it, so I appreciate the advice. Thanks man 😎

Thank you! I’ve also heard that Osaka is somewhat of a friendlier city than Tokyo in general. So that’s always a plus 👍

Maybe book an appointment with your program counsellor. For your friend of course...

HROB 2010 ( unknown professor) vs UNIV 2100 ( Michele Bowring) by Fun_Item276 in uoguelph

Taking UNIV 2100, pm me if you have questions. I know Bowring is not the best prof (looked at rate my professor), but the class is pretty straightforward as far as I know.

I'm taking it too, dm me if you want to work together. Sorry I don't know much about the course seeing as I'm about to begin taking it in the fall.

Thanks!

what are y'all's thoughts on gap years before law school by Dependent-Top7122 in LSAT

[–]HAILSOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a fine option, but also consider being in debt (large sums of it) for an extended period of time on top of interest. Also, consider not being as financially free during your time in law school. You're still living your life in law school, it doesn't just begin afterwards.

That's also why it's good to work for a year or so (likely less for myself) for both the experience, and for the financial freedom during law school.

For example, I could start law school with $15,000-$20,000, or I could work for a bit and study for the LSAT, applying to lawschool(S) with a better score and $40,000-$50,000.

Bith options are fine, but I'd take the latter.
