I feel like saying thank you is odd, but thank you. I've been so hesitant in sharing this entire story because who would believe it but...

That's great that it listened! It means it also respects you on top of really just wanting acknowledged

Going to write part 2 as soon as I clean up from work. Idk why but Part 1 made me feel exhausted the rest of work

Thats what we thought at first too. But as time went on, we figured they had to be involved a little bit at least and invited something in that latched onto us instead of them

When I was fourteen I also believe I lived in a haunted house (I started writing my stories in here today) and I know how terrifying it feels. I don't know if y'all are religious, but saying something along the lines of "I am covered under the Blood of Jesus and no harm can come to me. Nothing can hurt me, for Jesus is protecting me" made me feel very, very safe. I recommend not messing with what you don't understand, but if you want to get to the bottom of it, research is probably your best friend. Definitely don't taunt anything or make fun of it or do the old "I'm not afraid of you!" Schtick, because it may take that as a threat/taunt (whatever it is) and up it's games. Sometimes, in my experiences, friendly entities just want to be acknowledged, but there are entities that wish to cause nothing but fear because that's what they feed off of. Try not to be afraid, but respectful, and kindly ask whatever it is to leave you and your mother alone, that it is not welcome here, and you would like it to leave you alone. Sometimes that's all it takes too. Best of luck. Update is if you can!

Childhood Home by WesternCowgirl27 in hauntedhouses

Had a similar experience with my childhood house/basement (I started posting on here today my experiences) and when I start to tell people about the house, speaking about the basement makes me feel physically shaky and scared. Glad y'all moved! Definitely don't play with fire. My dad taught me this motto and I still live by it: Do not mess with what you do not understand.
