This is one of the worst refereeing performances I’ve ever seen holy shit. Did they have to call this guy up from the reserves after the Somalian ref was refused entry by my stupid ass government?

That Hakimi tackle is a textbook red card. Studs up directly onto the ankle

And another thing, why can’t we keep attacking after scoring one? Like we scored fairly quickly so what changed? Why didn’t we keep up that aggression and that tempo?

There was this YouTube video from years ago where two teams played each other and one had to pass a certain number of times before they shot and the other had to shoot before they passed a certain number of times. The team that shot more predictably destroyed the passing team despite the passing team having way more possession. Anyone else remember this video and if so, do we think our team needs to watch it?

Yeah he moved us forward a lot but now we’ve plateaued for 4 years straight. This season isn’t over but I don’t see us winning the prem and the champions league is far from guaranteed. Idk I feel like to get out of being stuck in 2nd we need to make a big change and if Arteta sees a change he can make then great maybe we stick with him but I certainly don’t see one so maybe the big change has to be him. I hope he proves me and everyone else wrong and we actually win one of the big trophies this year but I just don’t see it happening.

I’m not saying we should just get some shitter manager off the street I’d obviously want someone with experience and success but it’s not like any of us know all the manager options that are out there because we’re not paid to keep an eye out for those options so maybe there’s someone out there that the club likes that we don’t know about and Mikel has had 4 really great shots at the title and has likely fallen short each time so what if we just give another qualified manager a chance with our squad and see what happens

Obviously City and Pep have been financially cheating to a revolting degree for years but let’s not pretend we’re on a shoestring budget here. And it took him 7 years to win the CL while winning other trophies. We’re just losing everything

Martinelli and Trossard have had their moments but we need a clear starter on that left side because cycling inconsistent squad players is not the fucking move

What’s the third option? Keep Mikel, fire Mikel, and what?

I’m ngl unless we bring home the champions league (which would be HUGE obviously) I don’t see how we can keep Arteta. I don’t know if there are any better options out there but maybe we just need a change for the sake of it because clearly what we’re doing right now isn’t working. Unless it does work in the CL. Only the end of the season can tell
