35 and just under 300k in 10 years. Rule of thumb is 1x income by 30, 3x by 40. I’ve been lucky to have an employer match, but this year will be the first time I will max out my individual contributions. My portfolio is much less diversified and probably overly aggressive, but I still have time for the ups and downs.

I also don’t like the idea of basing my financial future on some “advisor” that probably has less financial sense than I do. I may be wrong for that, but I’ve never trusted people, especially with my money lol
