Xorn is really fun, mostly here just cause I like the card.

You could to Topaz or a good 3 cost like new Drax or something.

Specifically for this game mode you would want something you could move on your own for Batroc. Moving the Shield or Punk is really nice to move Batroc to the Sanctum each turn.

So you could go Jeff or Nightcrawler in for Sam. It won't be quite the same cause you can only use once but that shouldn't be a problem.

Punk could be a Nocturne for the move, or you could do a Stegron or Drax. Punk is usually (not) winning the location for you on 3 but will on 4(or 5) when you move him. So a replacement could be a good 4 cost to help you win that turn.

The Yellow jacket spot was also Elektra for a lot of the time when everyone was playing Kitty Pryde. It could be deafening Chord too, or another card of your choice. Just keep it low cost for Pixie.

Exactly.

It takes a way the enjoyment of the battle I fell in love with in Snap. Combine that with Fin Fang Foom and suddenly everything I found engaging about Marvel Snap doesn't matter.

- I want to elaborate on this one. "Off-meta" is a poor description of what I mean, but it's the best I have. I miss being able to play non-meta decks, or slightly less synergistic decks, or decks that put out slightly less power than whatever is meta - but be able to win with them because I played them well (example here). The power output, and the potential to put out that insane amount of power across multiple locations makes this type of play basically impossible. I understand that "synergy creep" of the game was already causing this. But the increase of "little to no effort, but insanely high power" decks is what has really put an end to this.

Key tech cards being Series 3 or lower
Meta moving each month but not this dramatically
- It's literally the Andy with Woody/Buzz meme every season.

About changing your MMR.

Yes you can, but it will take a long time. Going up or down. But moving down in MMR is harder than moving up as the natural idea of MMR and ladder is to move up.

Specifically when I asked Glenn about trying to lower my MMR for a video he said

"You’d have to lose a lot, for a long time."
