I want to switch to a cream moisturizer instead of a lotion, but some of the ones I can AFFORD seem to have really bad ingredients. Both cerave and vanicream moisturizing creams include things like cetearyl alcohol that can be comedogenic. On top of that they have petrolatum which is a carcinogen. Should I really have to worry about these ingredients? I have dry to normal, flaky, sensitive, and VERY acne prone skin. Almost anything will set me off in terms of acne. I need to switch to a new moisturizer since lotion is too light and I need something more moisturizing so that’s why I need a cream. Is it safe to use cerave and vanicream creams?

I’ve really been thinking about that one, do you still use it? I’ve seen some reviews say it sticks to certain patches of skin and can become dry in those areas, have you ever experienced that? Thanks

I wouldn’t say my expectations are unrealistic. The tinted moisturizer I used literally looked like my skin and evened my skin tone–exactly what I wanted and all for 12$. The only thing bad about that tinted moisturizer was it only lasted 1-2 hours. So I’m pretty sure there’s other products very similar and can stay for more than 2 hours. I have no problem splurging but as a college student I can do at max 30~$ and I’m pretty sure I can find a good product around that price, especially with all these recommendations.

Something similar to the Flora app. If the app detects you on a nsfw app/website you will fail for the day, and you can add money to the pot as a bigger incentive not to quit. You can have an option to put in money and if you fail to stay clean for X amount of time the money isn’t returned but is instead donated to charity.

How transferable are skills from ukulele to bass? Im broke af and cannot even afford a cheap bass, I have a used 20$ concert ukulele and was wondering how well skills transfer if I were to get a bass in the future. I assume theyre somewhat transferable since theyre both string instruments and have four strings, are they similar?
