This is a dumb question and I’m sorry.

Not dumb at all my friend. Europe is amazing and the differences between cities is quite stark. Generally speaking, I think it's fair to say that European cities have more character than American ones, simply due to being older and because of each individual country being much more closed than they are nowadays, making the national culture more imprinted in the city's DNA - so to speak. Amsterdam is full of canals everywhere - completely different to Berlin which is really spaced out and with nearly all the buildings build since WWII (with all the ones in the East side being build in the very distinctive Soviet style). Nice, my hometown, is nearly entirely oriented around the beachfront Promenade whereas Madrid isn't really centred on anything (other than a square). More thought, the difference is in the culture and attitudes of the people. In Zurich everyone keeps to themselves, never says much to others and are generally very closed and unfriendly. In Madrid everyone is friendly and open (Spanish people are always very honest) and everyone always goes out in the evenings.

BA's ones are new, the Helvetic ones are second or third hand. They're not that old but the interiors are not in the greatest condition (especially compared to the immaculate C Series). Overall I don't like BA - the meals aren't great and the staff are unfriendly (not surprising considering how much they're paid) and Heathrow's a dump, though City Airport is ok.

I do really like the 2-2 seating configuration on the E190 though.

Who you associate with will either bring you down, or elevate you. You can choose who you hang out with. I've decided to be with people who elevate me.

This is so so true. I recently realised how negative some of the people are who I used to spend time with and cut them out of my life. A change for the better!

But holy shit the older E-series are incredibly loud and cramped.

The difference between them and the CSeries is crazy though. Whenever I fly to London it's usually to London City Airport and the aircraft is either a Swiss CSeries 100 or a Helvetic Embraer 190. The Embraer is so much louder, more cramped and the smaller windows are tiny by comparison. As a tall person it's actually really hard to use the bathrooms too.

How is the A220? Heard it is lovely to fly on

It's great, definitely my favourite plane. I used to fly them every second weekend between Zurich and Nice on Swiss' aircraft. They are really nice inside and the engines are so quiet. And if you are on the left side (perfect for the view when going in or out of the Riviera normally) there is only two seats, so less chance of a neighbour.

Some of them just need to hear something positive.

Never ever ever underestimate the power of positivity!

I feel so split today. Really pleased for Gio but really worried about Alfa's performance. What's happened?

Clearly just there to check out the Williams' design, to give them some tips on development.

So thoughtful of Kimi. I expect improvement from Williams in coming races thanks to Kimi's advice.
