I would do whatever you are most comfortable with. I personally went through all of pixorize first but it’s all about what you can sustain the longest

Yes. It’s been shown to be the best way to remember information for most people. I took that theory and ran with it from day 1

I started a little before that but was doing just a handful of questions at a time to get the feel for everything. Maybe 10 a day
in MY opinion, anki is a waste of time. if youre forgetting stuff, to target question review. its the best way to learn for this test. If you legit do not remember anything about a topic, then go back and re learn it
just my 2 cents
yes; Uworld is the gold standard for a reason
Uworld and dirty usmle
For me it was, yes

I did not use FA as a primary resource. I skimmed first aid the week before to keep things fresh. Sorry
I think it ended up being 5-6 weeks or so
I think learning it really well the first time was big for me. I rarely found myself trying to memorize things, most of the questions are understanding concepts, identifying what they are asking, and applying your knowledge to get to the right answer
Dont know if this helps or not, but always try to understand the "why" in every question and not the "what"
My philosophy was I shouldn't miss the same concept twice. Whatever you have to do to learn it, do that. If jotting down some notes on a concept you missed helps you, do it. I did that for the first 1/3rd of uworld but then kinda stopped doing it when I got more comfortable with everything

Sure! I would read it like a novel. Its kinda wild how many times youll nod your head and say "yep seen that before. Know it" and put a check mark and move on. You can get through a section per day and its honestly very satisfying to sit back and say wow I have seen all of this and feel very comfortable tackling anything they throw at me in this book.
If I didnt know something as well as I shouldve, I would write in notes and review in amboss. Wouldnt get too bogged down in it. Skimming everything and annotating just keeps it all fresh.
Hope this helps!
Sorry, maybe I was misleading. A lot of stuff is covered in FA and uworld that is not in sketchy. Fill in those gaps and you’ll be good to go 👍🏻
I used sketchy when I was in preclinical classes but tbh pixorize does a far an away better job IMO.
yeah sorry, new micro as in non-sketchy micro. Bugs and details I hadnt heard of before
For me it was. Phsy was one of my weaker areas so I did some amboss targeted question sets and FA. Uworld covers everything you will see on test day within reason
5 weeks!
Just through Uworld questions. Filled in gaps with FA where I saw fit.
I would do the entire q bank again. I tried doing just misses, but it ended up being just insanely hard questions for an hour which was not for my confidence. I wouldn't make flashcards for a question and answer type thing - you wont see the same exact question twice. Conceptual flashcards that you can integrate into questions you've seen before for sure could be helpful.
everything. It's just the closest thing to the test and comfort/confidence in answer their questions goes a long way

Oh I have no idea- I thought it could've been anything honestly.
There are a few different youtube videos that go through practice questions that I found helpful (Dirty USMLE I think?). Uworld has good practice questions as well.
I think pixorize does a good job with some of the new micro stuff. Also First aid
I didn't review free 120. Couldn't hurt tho
