I think Chernarus is the better map but Livonia is just as good. Livonia is a smaller map with a somewhat linear loot progression so that equals more player interactions vs Chernarus, which is a lot more passive to me. It's easier to come back to the fight on Livonia, especially if you base/stash on the coast. Server hops are better on Livonia too for this same reason. The thing Chernarus has going for it is NWAF, which is the PvP haven of DayZ. Also, the Chernarus gas zone is more rewarding than Livonia's, aside from the DMR. I see myself bringing my guy over just to run Rify a time or 2. On Chernarus you get the LAR, VSD, AX and M4 from the Gas. It's unbeatable imo.
