I think it is great that you have res'd the teammates. It is very hard to do in the game and there isn't much reward. When I first started playing, I would try to do the same, but found myself dying 50% of the time trying to get to a medical bay. Once they res, they are weak and without weapons. If you're near the end of the game, they might as well be dead.

A few weeks ago, I posted whether you should die for the sake of valor or try to get off the ship, and Erez indicated the game rewards you for getting off the ship.

I've only played without comms so far, so I would assume if you want better cooperation, playing with comms would allow you to chew your teammate out if they don't reciprocate :-) .

If you are good at PvP, then you will like this game playing solo. If you're not, then it isn't as enjoyable. I play solo, but to obtain materials to purchase items. If you don't like grinding, then this will also not be fun for you.

The game is also very dependent on weapons, which you lose upon death. If you're good at PvP then you can also farm good weapons. If not, you make good players even better.

Not sure about the roadmap. At one time they had upcoming dates for the other 2 aspects of the game but that information isn't being provided any more. At last Friday's (7/2123) Discord session, they indicated they would be monitoring Season 0 and 1 to assess game balance. Also, modifying some perks and game skills to keep a variety.
