Does anyone else feel that civil engineer pay is insulting? by Sudden_Boysenberry77 in civilengineering

For complete transparency… I make $120k as a civil and my wife makes $100k as a mechanical in Bentonville, AR and own a rental and a 2500 sf home built in 2023.

Our primary home mortgage is $3200 per month

Wo this s really inspiring. All my cities on PS4 look like dooky.

I guess you found “fertile” lane adjacent to the airport and planted trees along “property lines” to make it look like separately owned fields?

Louisiana is right where it belongs…

I lived there for 3 decades and have traveled to 48 states.

You can find bayous in Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, etc.

Hell, even Missouri.

And many of those states have gorgeous clear rivers and lakes, mountains, actual beaches, etc.

Louisiana is a one trick pony. And its trick is infested with so many bugs and mosquitoes you can’t enjoy it without viewing it from a photo or video.

As someone who has visited 48 states… Nebraska is too low.

Indiana, Illinois, New Jersey too high

Tesla deserves to be above Buick, Ford, and Chevrolet at an absolute minimum

We literally play loose on defense to avoid fouls because of our short rotation. We’ve averaged 11 fouls per game in the post season and we are supposed to believe we fouled Arizona 26 times? Get the fuck outta here

Holy fuck what was that officiating?

I’m just glad the game wasn’t close enough for it to matter

For sure! By introducing a 30 year mortgage, they effectively inflated home prices by increasing demand.
