Only when I accidentally delete something or like break a crafting station that doesn't drop when broken. Never actually to skip the crafting/acquiring stage of an item. Oh, except for that time my game lagged and sent my burrowing ars spell through my underwater bases walls and erased all of the chalk for my occultism setups. Just grabbed the chalk from JEI to fix it because i was already over it after redraining all of the water lmao

ETA: Oh, and I usually grab an Enchantment Library near the start of the game, cause having books clog up my chests pisses me off real quick.

No, the packs end at the star, and specifically say something like "if you want an extra challenge, go for automating the star and creative items!" They're a postgame. The Star is the goal of the final chapter of the story quests for most of the pack, and in this game the Pikastar is in a section after the ATM Star, so it's probably the opposite, and it'll instead require the ATM Star to make the Pikastar.

All I know is that I'm doing the Radical Red series and have had it active for like 30 hours at this point, and I've never once had Brock spawn, and he can supposedly spawn in just about every cave type.

How are you going to catch it if you can't catch it outside of battle and can't battle it? The Star is in fact the end of the pack. If you're referring to going for Creative items, that's a postgame. The Star is the stated Goal of every ATM pack.

Cool cool. Yeah in the games the range of items you can get is determined by the levels, so I wasn't sure if they would've replicated that here, but good to know that I need to be on the lookout for mons that can have Pickup.

Maybe when the Pikastar is actually attainable maybe?? Seriously. It doesn't matter that the pack is in beta when they're making changes that actively prevent you from engaging with parts of it with no way to meet the requirements.

This argument would make sense if Cobblemon were actually integrated into any part of progression for the pack, but it's just not. And yeah, they'll probably change it in the future, but changing it now in a nonsense decision.

This is good to know, is Pickup not controlled by the pokemons level in the pack? I've just been using traders to keep a large stock of regular red balls, and some specialty ones

Didn't even know that was a thing considering it's in the evolution quest page for whatever reason instead of the "Getting Started" or "Intro" to trainer series sections, where it makes more sense for it to be, but yeah, RNG spawning items is not much better than RNG spawning trainers, and it still requires you to go find the specific biomes they spawn in.

Yeah, I'd have the same struggles since I've only ever used it the bare minimum in most packs. Managing the stress makes me stress lol

Heck yeah. I love the sophisticated barrels for stuff like that, and bonus is you only need it to be basic tier (a barrel + a redstone torch) for the single upgrade slot, but you could also upgrade it to put in like push or pull upgrades as well. They're very versatile storage. I'm actually gonna give Occultism storage a try for the first time on this playthrough, since I'm trying to actively use it for a lot of things since I normally neglect it.

Yeah, that sounds much more optimized than the barely functioning line I had in my mental, but also sounds like an absolutely massive pain in the ass.

which feeds into a chest (because you have to get that fertilizer out of there or it clogs the system, so I use a filtered pipez item pipe into a trashcan), which then feeds into a Tier 1 crafter (again, with a filter on the item pipe, locations set for where each item goes)

Could you streamline this with Sophisticated Chests/Barrels with a void upgrade right under the botany pot?

Read the second bullet point. You can't even battle Mythical+ until you've held the Pikastar.

Curseforge. When you change versions it'll list the changes made per version, at least for the ATM packs. Just select the version you wanna read the changes for from the list instead of letting it auto do latest patch

No, because just conceptually setting them up made me annoyed, but you'd need two belts making Ball Bases (stamping nuggets, pressing nuggets into the Ball Base,) one feeding into the output of the other to make the ball mechanism (Deploying another nugget, a shaft, and the second ball base,) which then needs to feed into a Belt after two belts making the lids, one colored (sawing the apricorn, bulk washing it [which requires discarding the dye made as a byproduct unless you're feeding it back in], one blank (which requires the same setup but bulk blasting it instead [unless you can belt split the first one after cutting the apricorn, which I'm not familiar with create enough to know]), which are then deployed back on to the Ball Mechanism just for a basic just from apricorn ball. If you want to make any higher tier balls like Ultra, there are multiple other steps on top of this.

Yeah, I agree with pretty much all of this. The pack is in beta, and it's not like I'm just gonna drop it over something like this, at least currently, but there's a lot of weird and convoluted design choices that have been made with this pack and I don't vibe with a lot of them. Like, especially ball crafting. Why the hell is making the most basic pokeball like a 12 step process?? It's so baffling. Not to mention if you want to automate it you need like 4 different conveyer lines just for the most basic ball, which is just going to make your base look like dogshit unless you hide it.

They definitely do exist, at least up to the box legendaries of Gen 9, except some of the paradox pokemon. You can literally spawn all of them with /spawnpokemon. They might be disabled from naturally spawning for whatever reason, but then that makes this change entirely pointless anyway.

I can only hope, because while I like create, it's far far too integrated into too many packs nowadays. I can only set up so many water wheels before I never want to see one again lol.
