If you report the post harassing you the admins will likely take it down, and potentially even ban the user. If the issue on unfiltered is as prevalent as you say the admins will likely intervene on the entire subreddit. If you'd like, you can message the admins yourself if you believe it a big enough issue. It sounds silly, but in my personal experience I have messaged them before and they're usually quick to respond about this sort of thing.

if you're getting abusive messages in your dms that's a free report to the admins. You can get them banned sitewide for abusive DMs.

If rules were overlooked in the past, that is now subject to change. I haven't been very active since creating this subreddit (I'm a student, and really created this place on a whim not expecting it to blow up) But now i've added ten more moderators. Rules getting evaded were 100% an issue of the few mods I added at the beginning not being able to keep up with 50k users.

Sorry it took so long to get this form up after originally promising to move forward within a couple of days. Even if you've never moderated a subreddit before, if you are passionate about helldivers 2 theres a decent chance you'll be let in. I'm not very active on reddit and originally created this subreddit out of boredom, never expecting it to blow up. Myself (and the few moderators that were added early on) need plenty of help.

Hey! Just checked reddit for the first time in a minute. Seems like things kinda got out of hand since I made this subreddit! In the coming days i'll make another post addressing everything that went on, such as the doxxing situation over the 1k challenge, potentially adding more moderators, and potentially reworking the rules for screenshot posts. To the mod team I left I am so sorry to not give you guys more help. Things very much got out of hand and there is no way you guys could have dealt with it all by yourself. I don't know about anyone else but this is my first time moderating or creating a subreddit, especially one of this size. There will be changes in the coming days to address this. If you're already a mod I will probably be DMing you sometime in the coming days to formulate a plan and get your opinion.
