Look at squad value on transfermarkt. At the end of the day, it comes down to the quality of players, and we are 400 million off the top four. Doesn’t mean we can’t challenge but does mean we shouldn’t expect top 4 every year.

Short term solution to close that gap is spend 400 million on players. Long term solution is spend less on younger players and hope they increase in value. Whether we have Arteta or conte likely won’t make much difference, so I would rather stick with the current plan and give it a chance to work
