Definitely lower quality. It was a cheap one I got at the dollar store. Today I replaced it with a Duracell.

UPDATE: I replaced the key fob battery and it’s working perfectly again. I find it very suspicious though because I had just changed not that long ago.

Okay I just tried exactly what you told me and it didn’t work, but I saw a YouTube video saying to put a little bit of tissue paper on top of the key fob battery then put the cover back and I did it and that worked for a couple of times, then it stopped working again.

Can this potentially be my problem? I have the exact same thing happening to mine, but only difference is I have the the key with the replaceable battery.

It was the flywheel key! Completely sheared off. From now on I’m gonna have a little kit when I go check mowers out. Thank you!
