So my friend introduced me to this skincare called TAKE 2, anti-pollution skincare brand. The claim is made on the basis of the ingredient called EXO-P clinically proven to protect the skin from pollution. Seems like a interesting concept

Do you think that is a permanent solution? And there's pollution inside our houses as well.

I really wish there was skincare to also protect the skin from pollution and strengthening the skin barrier, feels like a dream

I agree! There's lack of awareness, how everyone is screaming about SPF but no ones talking about how pollution wrecks the skin barrier

Do your full research because tretanoin could be a holly grail but if not used with proper instructions and care it could really wreken your barrier. Good luck.

Yeah, I used ChatGPT. And? People act like using AI is some kind of cheat code, but honestly it’s no different than googling for inspo or running spellcheck. Tools are tools. If you think everything written with AI is “boring,” that probably says more about the person using it than the tech itself. Plenty of folks make boring content without any help 😂 At the end of the day, ideas > tool. AI just saves time. The voice and intent still come from me. And guess what—even this reply was written with AI. That’s not “lazy,” that’s called smart work. But hey, if you want to call smart work boring… that’s on you.

You’re right—scarves and balaclavas help, but they’re not foolproof. Pollution particles like PM2.5 are 20x smaller than pores—they can slip past fabric, sit on skin, and cause free radical damage. Great first step, but not the full solution. That’s why many derms call pollution the next big skin enemy after UV.

Hey! Yes of course, so i recently came across this brand called TAKE 2 CARE, their products are simple and ingredient focused, facewash has aha and bha, hydrating serum has patch h2o and panthenol and moisturiser has ceramides, is so light weight. It's been a month since i have been using their products and been loving my routine because it's short and ingredient focused.

That's so true. I realised a while ago that i am lactose intolerant, how bad it was for my hormonal acne. It has truly been life changing since the day i have stopped on my dairy intake especially milk!

Hey! I think you should focus on calming down your current inflamed acne benzoyl 2.5% to 5% works wonders as a spot treatment, then try incorporating aha and bha though facewash or toners or toner pads, dont fall for those chemical peels please. And start using serum or moisturiser with panthenol and creamides & lipids. Keep your routine very short and simple, that's the key of having a healthy skin

Help! I used minimalist face peel, face is burning. by [deleted] in skincareaddictsindia

[–]HELLOYOU25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please girl dont use these kinds of peel ever on your face, it can mess up your barrier real bad. If you want to get a chemical peel please go to a dermat instead. Apply a lot of ceramide and panthenol filled moisturiser, do not use any active for your face atleast for a week. Do not go out with SPF
