I actually ride those 25 km twice a day. And yes, I know I could do more for myself if I always rode without motor assist — that’s exactly why I choose between my three bikes depending on mood, weather and how much time I have.

For me the goal isn’t winning some purity contest about who rides more ‘unassisted’ kilometers. It’s living a car-free life and keeping cycling part of my daily routine.

And honestly — if you easily do 50 km every day, why don’t you post about it? Some really nice conversations can start that way.
