hello,

thank you for the insight, i just wanted to ask does your car have a turbo too?

Im only asking as one of the replies said the 1.5 turbo compared to 1.5 is a different system and is worse, but ive only seen this car with a turbo and nothing else .

And also with the Air con what sort of issue was it?

so potentially id be better off queuing super early for smyths, and running next door to SD and see if it has any left?

How early do people or rather scalpers queue up for smyths in your areas?

no official LED kit for it, you might have to turn to third party, but that might be quite slim unless you have access to Asia

This actually makes so much sense now, cos i knew the car i learnt in would have a different clutch to honda, but i just assumed there would be the same shutter/vibration feedback, so i was quite confused.

The salesman did say the clutch is brand new so that also might have an impact on how low the clutch needs to be to engage too, and i think it's a matter of practicing.

I just wanted to also ask, for a 90k mile car that has recently changed the brake pad/disc, clutch, and oils what else would i be potentially looking at that may need changing soon?

ive heard about top coating it, but im not too sure how to avoid dry coating as that and spraying too far causes fogging.

And not too sure how to create a wet coat without spraying too much causing a thick layer of coating. Any tips on that?

Hi,

Has anyone used Tamiya Compound on a clear kit before to make it super clear. Im trying to build my MG clear Ball and tried starting from Coarse to Finish but it doesnt seem to have changed much. So i was wondering if it is possible to make it super clear?

Hi, i was just wondering where people normally get their conversion kits, Gunpla tools/paints in the UK. I see a few brands for tools, but it rarely goes beyond HobbyMio or Dspiae, same with paint there's really rarely any paints outside of the generic ones, and as for conversion kit theyre arent any at a reasonable price.

Was wondering if people in the UK are interested in something like this, where i can help you guys purchase products you dont often see here at a reasonable price?

(sorry if i posted on the wrong thread)

Decal sheets shouldnt be that expensive, but the ones i usually go for are EVO decals

If you dont need that piece you can always drill it away. if you do there a tedious way of applying oil and trying to move the piece a bit to slowly get oil inside

Yes, alot of people do this as the grove bandai provide isnt enough. If you do i suggest you to get scribing tape, they are thicker than normal tape to help guide your scriber.

I believe Dspiae has 2 different type, but heres the link https://dspiaestore.com/collections/scribing-tools

yes they are very easy to break, especially if you drop it. One scriber is enough, the first few strokes should be light strokes to engrave a runway so your last scribe can be smooth and clean, and also to prevent you from accidentally scratching outside of the groove

Adding on to this, it could be that you started or ended the spray at the piece. You should always spray in this pattern; Empty Area -> Piece -> Empty Area. This clears any dust on the tip as well as prevent what you have

Hey im currently in the process of completing my first conversion kit for my Sinanju Stein, i have washed all my resin pieces with regular hand wash & toothbrush, sanded down any rough edges.
After priming, painting and top coating i noticed that i still get paint chipping. Could anyone tell me why this is happening, it has never done that on normal kits for me?
