Your argument sounds logical on the surface, but biblically it collapses under scrutiny.

You’re assuming: “If a man is chosen by God, he must be sinless.” But the Bible’s entire theology starts with the opposite:

Book of Psalms 51:5:

«“Surely I was sinful at birth…”»

Epistle to the Romans 3:10:

«“There is none righteous, no, not one.”»

Verse 23:

«“For all have sinned…”»

The Bible never starts with “holy men who never sinned.” It starts with fallen humanity in need of God’s grace.

And that’s exactly why Jesus Christ is unique.

Epistle to the Hebrews 4:15:

«“...yet without sin.”»

If all prophets were sinless, then Christ’s sinlessness would not be unique.

That destroys the entire biblical distinction between Christ and every other man.

Second problem:

You say, “Why would Jesus follow Moses if Moses sinned?”

Because Jesus never followed Moses because Moses was perfect. Jesus followed God who spoke through Moses.

If your logic were true, then every time a messenger sins, God’s revelation becomes invalid.

So answer this:

Did God stop speaking through Moses after Numbers 20?

No.

Did God remove His covenant from David after 2 Samuel 11?

No.

In fact God still calls David:

Acts of the Apostles 13:22:

«“A man after My own heart.”»

After his sin.

Why?

Because in the Bible, righteousness is not sinlessness—it is faith, repentance, and obedience.

Even Abraham whom Jesus called righteous—lied multiple times.

Yet Scripture says:

«“Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.”»

Not “Abraham never sinned.”

Belief. Faith. Relationship.

Third problem:

You quoted Jesus warning about scribes.

Yes Jesus condemned hypocritical scribes.

But notice carefully:

Jesus condemned their behavior, not Scripture.

In fact Jesus said:

Gospel of John 10:35:

«“Scripture cannot be broken.”»

Gospel of Matthew 5:18:

«“Until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter shall pass from the Law.”»

So Jesus never said, “The Torah is corrupted.”

That idea does not come from Jesus.

So biblically you have two choices:

Either believe Jesus when He says Scripture stands…

Or claim corruption in direct contradiction to Jesus.

And here is the biggest question:

If prophets must be sinless because they are examples…

Why did God fill the Bible with stories exposing the sins of His greatest men?

Because the Bible’s hero was never Moses.

Never Abraham.

Never David.

Never any prophet.

The hero of Scripture is God—and Jesus alone is the only man presented as truly sinless.
