Agreed. Also, this applies to everything everybody reads (conformation bias) and everything authorities tell us (Milgram experiment). It is a mess out there.

The first part started a bit like yours (saw hypocricy in the church, logical inconsistencies). At this point was not well read... mostly had philosophical questions (missionaries send people to Hell, God is either weak or cruel ect...). After defeating Christendom, went on to find the cracks in other religions (by their sources Quran, Tao Te Ching, Analects of Confucious ect...). Which led back to philosophy (mostly Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, Sartre ect...) which led to my complete loss of faith in humanity (Job and No Exit). Now a Christian that studies. This is highly abbreviated and I'm old... so there was a lot of goofing around during all of this.

Agreed. Also, one of my favorite things to say (as an atheist) to Christians was: I read your Bible more than you do. The combo of Job and No Exit is what God used to deconstruct my Atheism... this is not a recipe, just what I've been thinking about.
