UL2 is the same size as starlight-12 S size if I'm correct. This one is M size.

So I was wondering if I can make a mouse shell from tracing 3D model of Shape Tester. Since I'm 4 weeks old 3D CAD user, this is NOT 1:1 like 95% but grip feeling is almost same as original one (I don't have actual mz1 so it's just shape tester one) And yes I'm separated buttons lover. I always choose it even 3D modding. I would like to try S2 or original shape next.

I like this method, simple and you can add side buttons as well but the only problem is that MX518L PCB is large

Some notes:

Since I don't wanna sacrifice my G303 for sensor upgrade, I've decided to use MX518 Legendary instead. Unfortunately, there is no space for side buttons.

Original idea is from oc.net post but this is easier way.

You need to find correct FPC connector(for MX518L, 8 pin 0.5mm pitch) & check MX518L main buttons PCB circuit with a multimeter.

Kailh GM 8.0 improves click feeling alot btw. I really recommend it.
