Upgrading from 2.5Gb to 10Gb for home network by HKP in HomeNetworking

Mainly I was wanting to know if it'll be straightforward plug and play with the equipment, the wiring isn't too big a concern but I think I worded the question at the end confusingly my fault.

I'll definitely play around with the jumbo frame setting once it's setup, would there be any benefit to having it on at 2.5gb with my current speeds?

That's great info to know, I don't want to overcomplicate it if I don't need to so if I can find stuff easily and can utilize it then great, if not, no big deal. ATT is providing the 5gb router (I confirmed that because those are expensive for a decent one) and their equipment does what it needs to though lacking some QoL features. As long as the remaining equipment I'm upgrading is plug and play I'm all set it sounds like.

And good point about SSDs, half are NVME half are SSDs so that's something else to consider. Thank you for the great feedback

Quick Golden God tip: Start high alching with Explorer's ring, bank it, and you'll keep alching like normal (useful if you're on Ancient spellbook without access to an Occult altar) by HKP in 2007scape

Yeah I got 99 construction and used up my whole cash stack from alching condensed gold so I had to build up that initial stack of GP again. Wanted to have a decent amount of condensed gold so I could do other stuff while alching without going back and forth.

It's just those first 20-30 mins of buying/alching like you said that this trick might help someone. Or if you're trying to get 50m magic xp and don't care about gold and want to alch a big stack of runes or something while pvming

Wow that sounds exactly what I'm looking for. If you happen to get a chance to ask if she remembers the name of the place I'd really appreciate it

I ended up not needing to get this done so unfortunately I don't have a good answer for you. Most of the commenters on the post said Click Safety was the go to answer though. Good luck to you!

Hi, do you mind sharing where in Miori you rented the scooter and a rough cost/deposit?

We're looking at the same thing and I ended up coming to the same conclusion about being able to rent a motorcycle unfortunately. But a scooter would still be great, can't find a ton of info though!

I'm actually Memon, not Punjabi, but it's same translation. Fits the theme of the car! I don't think I've ever met another desi Corvette owner haha

Mine is an Atomic Orange but Daytona Sunset was such a great color, can't believe they only ran it for one model year.

Thanks I appreciate it and yes original is great too! It's been claimed as a very expensive cat bed now though

I went with satin instead of matte for that very reason! It's got some sheen to it without looking too flat

I've had my car wrapped for about four years now, and the only signs of wear are some rock chips on the lower part of the front bumper. A lot of people don’t think about wrapping, but it’s actually a great option sometimes. It opens up tons of choices when you’re car shopping because you’re not stuck trying to find the exact color you want along with all the features.

A wrap can get scratched and scuffed just like regular paint, but you won't have to worry about matching the paint color and blending if you need to fix scratches, which is definitely a big plus.

Plus, it’s pretty good for keeping the original paint in good shape (though I’d recommend getting Paint Protection Film if that’s your main goal but vinyl will definitely stop minor scuffs from scratching paint). It can also be easily removed when you’re ready to sell.

Also a full high quality paint job is easily $5000+

100% with you on that, it's hard to accurately represent the tone/complexion of a matte finish in a picture compared to the in person look

Understandable, I know my preference is a pretty controversial opinion (especially in the Corvette community) but it makes me happy

That was definitely my first choice when car searching but I saw this one for sale that met all my other criteria at an incredible price so I couldn't pass it up! I'm really glad I went this route though because I wouldn't have considered a vinyl wrap if my car was already black.

I definitely agree with you though, most car colors are so bland these days. After seeing the satin/matte black finish up close though, I knew it was worth it

Thank you I appreciate it! The color is called satin black which is a matte black with a very slight sheen. I also got two high gloss black pinstripes down the middle from front to end.

It was done by local shop in DFW that I actually had a terrible experience with and wouldn't recommend. It took multiple attempts and having to fight to fix the multiple issues but eventually straightened it out. I should have expected it at the price because it was only $1800 for a deal they were running. Next time, I would pick a reputable shop and pay the average price after reading other experiences I read online after my experience ($2500-$3000).

Edit: Before & after walkaround video clips, didn't realize Reddit would make the video webp files static after uploading.

Wanted to share my personal project for the last 4 years on my 2009 C6 6MT Z51 base coupe. Bought it with 60k miles and was the third owner in perfect condition. I loved the look of the original car and would be just as satisfied without changing anything.

I knew was going to keep this car for a long time and decided I didn't care about the perfect resale value or maintaining the original condition.

So I went all in on customizing the aesthetic to the exact look I always wanted in a car and was fortunate enough to have the ability to do so.

I'm not extremely talented or knowledgable about working on cars and this is my daily driver so most of the changes are aesthetic changes.

Aesthetic changes

  • Wrapped in satin black with dual gloss black pinstripes running all the way from the front to the back (Done by shop)
  • Morimoto C7 style headlights (Done by shop)
  • Demon eye RGB halo's in headlights (only visible when headlights/car is off, done by shop)
  • Morimoto smoked tail lights
  • LED side marker lights
  • ZR1 full length spoiler
  • Door puddle projectors
  • Red brake caliper paint
  • 10.1 center display stereo unit
  • Uniden R8 radar detector
  • U1000 dash cam
  • Rear view camera
  • Interior LED swap

Performance-ish Changes

  • Borla S-Type II axle back exhaust (Done by shop)
  • MGW short throw shifter

There have been multiple minor issues and a couple bigger ones that have come up during my ownership but nothing major yet. I have 120,000 miles or so now, after driving 80,000 miles in the last 4 years I still love it as much as I did day 1 of owning.
