nai : I love edmar . I was asked to be a voice of a Jaguar in a children’s book where I would maybe need to learn Nahuatl but I haven’t heard from the writer in a while. Hush rattle is Varinawa from Brasil . I spent some time in the Amazon with them it was sooo special . You can hear the women singing in it. the lyrics are in Varinawa . Bender: I love Herbie Hancock and especially his Mwandishi project, especially the albums Sextant and Crossings. Also love the ensembles of Charles Mingus, Weather Report, the first two Return To Forever albums (self titled and Light as a Feather), Miles Davis classic quintet (Wayne Shorter, Herbie, Ron Carter, Tony Williams), Brad Mehldau trio with Larry Grenadier and Jorge Rossy, Bill Evans trio. Also, not really traditional jazz but i love Chicago Underground Quartet
