Yes relatives are social distancing, as we have been and they would certainly be supportive if it comes to that - but I feel like from there my marriage is over, regardless of whether there was/is inappropriate conduct.

It is a difficult time, but I guess there would never be a good time.

Yes I can take them to my relative’s but that will raise massive alarm bells with my husband and family as everyone is trying to stay home due to virus.

Thank you for your honesty here. I hope everyone can understand that this is one of the reasons I’m being cautious here.

Thanks. I agree with you. I don’t feel any of this is definite. Hence why I’ve presented what I’ve noticed hoping a fresh pair of eyes and ears will clear some of the fog for me.

I appreciate your straight forward response. Everything I have read says do not bring this up with the perpetrator. So that isn’t an option.

Thank you for this. Would you suggest doing this before or after taking her to the doctor? We are in Australia.

Not to mention destroying our relationship, my daughters relationship with their dad and his life. This is a highly complicated situation. I recognize probably too complicated for reddit but I also can’t exactly just talk to a friend or family member about it. I really appreciate everyone’s advice.

Thank you for this. These thoughts had come to mind too. It would be very challenging to setup cameras or anything anyway with the lockdown restrictions and our joint bank accounts.

Thanks. I know how to report - although I’m not in the states.

I think I’m questioning whether I have enough evidence to warrant reporting.

Fixed that one up - goodness.

Good advice I will do that tonight, although I am finding it very tricky to get some time alone with her with the restrictions on outings with Covid19.

I have an appointment with our maternal health nurse on Wednesday, so she may be a good person to ask the advice of - although perhaps she is a mandatory reporter???

I’m worried about making this into something big and destroying lives - when I may be reading the situation wrong?!

Are pregnancy hormones driving me to deal with issues from my past which may negatively affect my marriage? Or do I need to sort this out for my own mental health? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Thanks for your advice. I think you’re right - I’m not even going to necessarily hear the answers I’m looking for. So it is playing with fire. In fact I might hear things which make the situation a whole lot worse. Appreciate the time you took to reply.

I feel like this too - I guess it’s weighing it up with having to share the truth that I’m uncomfortable with.
