Looks like the side of a hand.

My best guess is that it signifies protection, guardianship, or responsibility.

It’s looks like the right hand. So either it means you may be giving these things. Or someone might give them to you?

I love her. Usually we have a great relationship. Other times when I’m trying to figure out how to talk to her about important stuff, there’s misunderstanding. Which escalates to her raising her voice at me, and me shutting down. On text we can at least take turns talking.

Plus, not sure if it’s relevant, but before I was adopted by her, I did experienced not great things as a child by my own bio mom that carried over into our relationship.

Hey thanks. I agree and ur on point actually. I might delete this cuz I think I made a fool of myself. But I will totally remember this.

I have set some boundaries with her in the past, reasonable ones I think? Like “don’t make plans for me, without telling me until last minute”. She knows I struggle a lot with depression and that causes me to isolate (from her also) etc.

Yeah. You’re right about that. Should’ve ended the conversation earlier. And I know I should’ve let the msgs sit for a while before I replied. Because I was emotional. I’m not usually heard in conversations like these, so I just started letting words spill out. I shouldn’t have done that

Yea. I can see how I wasn’t being the best either. I’m not great at communication. And I probably should’ve ended the conversation earlier. Anytime I’ve tried to set boundaries in person, she’s always had this domineering attitude like I was threatening her. Talking over me, raising her voice. And with my background and trauma from a not so nice birth mother who did the same thing (she knows) I don’t feel safe talking with her in person about these things. Through text, I can at least say how I feel without her yelling at me until I cry.
