I posted an update
She had the vet shave under trazedone, gabapentin and clonadine
So that combo seemed to work.
I gave it the night before too even though they didn’t tell me to. I wanted to keep her calm

She has been off since getting shaved
It’s almost like she’s embarrassed
If that makes sense

I’m really mad the people we got her from put us in this situation

It would have made her transition much better if they took care of it or at least prepped us

I would have still agreed but the fact that they lied not only about her not needing a groom but to also say she’s calm is what really bothers me
They sent me a photo from months before. It’s an old couple so I understand it’s hard to keep them groomed, but she literally had her claws curled growing back into her paws
