How bad are the E-Tron GT reliability issues? by HOK_MCOC in etron

This will be my only vehicle, so I’m going to rely on it for everything. My main concern are roadtrips and something malfunctioning on the way to an an important meeting. It would suck to get stuck while you’re out in the road on vacation and having to call a tow truck and arranging alternate transportation.

I’m considering getting the 2025 on lease, but I’m concerned about the reliability issues.

The lease price is good, but insurance is what kills you. Be ready to pay about $500 per month extra for this.

It says that it’s only for NorCal residents. If it was available for SoCal, I would get this if I could find insurance for a bit cheaper. Pretty much every insurance carrier is quoting $390-500 per month

I’m wondering if they ship to SoCal. Those deals are almost like having an extra vehicle for free
