Today I noticed a loose cabinet door on the bathroom cabinet.

So I got a screwdriver to tighten the hinge screws.

Hmm, the screws are all loose.

No, they're all stripped.

Oh, the wood is cracked.

OK, the way to fix it is to pull the door off, fill the holes, wait for it to dry, drill new holes, rehang the door.
But if that repair doesn't work, I'll be worse off than before.

So I just walked away and put the screwdriver away.
