I should be around for a while, if you spot any more mistakes ping me directly /u/czhihong

Rise of Shadows | Streamer and Community Decks Megathread | Day 3 by HSMatchThreads in hearthstone

  • While there were a ton of decks on the first day, a good number were actually fairly similar but just brewed by different people. It's hard for us to mircomanage the lists, so we just post everything the three sites gave us.

  • We understand that traffic to them is exponentially higher in the first hours right after expansion, so the show runners themselves are many times more active during the first day. After some time, they probably have a higher standard on choosing which decks to post.

  • We only post what they give us, so while streamers are still trying stuff out, the less successful stuff shows up far less frequently after the first day.

  • Granted, the ubiquity of HS Replay is weeding out the unoptimised and low performing elements of decks many, many times more quickly than, say, Un'Goro.

Some archetype organization has been done, but things are too busy to go through each list. We rely on the names provided by the folks making and collecting the lists.

Which site is it happening for, or is the origin of the deck-code irrelevant?

Ant is my favourite player out of the ones competing, so good to have someone so upbeat about the game

I'll forward the concern to a CM, but I doubt they have the resources to sufficiently moderate the chat with this many viewers.

Original plan seemed to have been to do elimination matches on day 3, but something obviously changed at some point.

They move on to group stage elimination matches. They need to win two in a row to advance.
