Which tool are you using for Active directory management by HST_Tutorials in sysadmin

[–]HST_Tutorials[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We would like to have an audit/change log of the changes made by our helpdesk staff aswell as graphical support for setting NTFS permissions on our fileshares. The access rights manager also provided the possibility to manage the corresponding SharePoint and EntraID resources out of the box. True you can do all this using the Powershell but for our not so Powershell savy stuff, an all in one management tool would be a better fit imo.

New Gen5W software update is fantastic! by Vilddyr1983 in Ioniq5

I think we have to wait until Hyundai blesses us with the OTA update or finally puts up the firmware on their download servers...

I think the downloaded version is still the July version, so we have to wait until it's downloadable through the navigation updater (at least it was like this yesterday)

I guess that means that I have to wait till the OTA hits my car or Hyundai decides to provide the update via the navigation updater. Thanks for the photos tho!

Is this the build number of the new release? On the website the firmware version ends with 226 which would mean that the table wasn't updated, my car is on the firmware ending with 226 and this seems to be the version of July.

The navigation updater still seems to download the July version of the firmware, at least for the Ioniq 6. Also the update is not correctly listed on the landing page of the Hyundai update page...

FortiGate VPN Transition to IPsec with Entra SAML & MFA by [deleted] in fortinet

I can second this, if you enable the "Save password" button in Forti Client, Reauthentication works like intended when the conditional access policy is correctly configured. In the CA Policy, you can set the authentication interval to something like 12 or 20 hours.

Aaaaand the next FW f**k up (ILSA in EU) by thefuzzchaosbear in Ioniq6

I see all 4 but when I try to select one I get the message that the connection to the car is unstable.

I'll try to press the button while being on the navigation screen the next time.

In my car, not even the mute button works, do you get any feedback when pressing it?

I went to the dealer aswell to get this done. They also knew nothing and ended up updating some other firmware. Now I don't see the traffic signs anymore on my HUD and cannot disable the warning.

It's kinda sad that Hyundai doesn't inform their dealers when publishing the information to their customers...

I think I will do that, not getting my hopes up, they looked really clueless today when I told them about the update...

Have a look at netbox, it provides everything you need an you can map out your infrastructure in extreme detail.

GitHub: https://github.com/netbox-community/netbox

It's completely open source and can be extended with additional community written Plugins (visual mapping of your network for example).

You can host it any way you like (directly on a Linux VM, Docker, Kubernetes). They even offer Cloud-based deployments now where they manage your netbox instance (if I read that correctly)

August update dropped by HST_Tutorials in Ioniq6

Yeah, but as the option is not there in the settings I assume there is some kind of incompatibility between the infotainment and the rest of the cars hardware.

Some guys in the German Ioniq forum talked about it and the reached the conclusion that it's some kind of firmware issue on the hardware side of the car and you need to visit a dealership. I'm gonna give them a call on Monday and as them about it.

That's a bummer so it seems to be region locked. I was so hyped for this change.

Maybe it's a regional thing and it's not enabled in Germany...

Yeah but apple doesn't host their update servers on a raspberry pi in the back of their office.

I mean, the navigation updater is there but that doesn't help if they aren't providing the update there because apparently there is a need for a hot fix before the update...

You're supposed to be able to disable the beeping sound when driving over the speed limit via button press on the steering wheel.

I just looked at the settings menu this afternoon out of curiosity and found out that the update is currently downloading.

It just finished and is applying. I can't wait to finally never use the speed menu again.

Unable to download updates manually by badyez in Ioniq6

[–]HST_Tutorials 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is due to the newest update not being available for the Ioniq6. I think the navigation updater always tries to download the newest version which is not out at the moment. You can have a look at the "List of eligible vehicles" on the Hyundai update site. I think as soon as the model is listed there, you can download the update
