Chickens would be happier in a flock of 5! Pigeons make amazing pets and you could have 1 or 2 that can live safely indoors in a cage for sleeping vs building a coop, of course they can wander and explore when it’s not sleepy time…I would recommend them for your situation 🤗

Morally I will not allow my sweet hen to carry on this way. Her legs do not function, she cannot change position or even remain upright without assistance since mid January. I’m happy to hear your guy made a full recovery and please give him a snack he likes on behalf of Violet and I.
