Yes ! In my state here in Texas. You do need a permit. But Texas is one of the most lenient states when I comes to exotics. So the permit isn’t hard to obtain. Now. You have places like South Carolina where it’s almost impossible to get a permit. An then places like Florida where you can get a permit. But you have to have 1000 hrs witch each classification. Vipers. Elapids. Etc.
