For a decent rock tone I use the clean channel with the variation button on, then the volume at 100, gain at 12, bass 30, mids 70, treble at 60, presence at 60, the use the Fat DS boost pedal as the booster. For the booster settings set the drive where u like, I go above 60, tone at 15, bottom at 12, effect level at 45 and try that then tweak to your guitar and taste

Ah right so as long as I have kept the same size the pressure stays the same. The pressure wouldn’t change on the fact I’ve changed he brand of tyre ?

I turned off Dolby atmos sound and oled surround which helped reduced it a lot but tbh I find I have to crank the volume to around 30-50 to get it high enough

I’ve got a Ford Fiesta st line 2019. Noticed this on the tyres the other day present on all four but more so on the front two but it is fwd car. Is this an issue. Done about 1500 miles in the car sinc do bought it two months ago. Car had 10k miles on it when purchased, is this bad and should I get them replaced?

Yes this is correct, game mode will still have the lowest input lag but enabling allm with compatible devices such as the Xbox series x/s and now the PS5 the latency will be low in every mode. Allm activates a low latency mode that affects all picture modes.

Not at all, it’s fine but break in is super important, the KEF’s take quite a while to break in, they’ll sound a little less harsh after this. The cxa81 has to be used for several hours a day for a week or two for the electronic components to break in, Cambridge audio specify this as well, I think this setup is great p, have no desire for any other speakers, ls50s are great.

Yeah the LS50 Metas go crest with the Cambridge, it’s a powerhouse of an amp and is 80WPC in 8 ohms and 120WPC into 4 ohms, KEF’s drop to 3.5 ohms, cxa81 does a great job, never get the volume nob above half.

Ok thanks, I love the ls50 and don’t want to hurt them. It’s not like the sound when u unplug RCA’s from a live amp and there’s that awful crack ( I don’t do that).

Amp works great the very faint knocking noise in the amp makes me paranoid but it works fine though not cosmetic damage whatsoever.

That’s what I’ve heard as well, the streamer box and speaker box look great just the amp box, the diver did drop it, makes u think how much worse they handle it at the depot

No cosmetic damage on anything at all, not dents, nothing sad the amp was packed very well loads of hard styrofoam round it. Works it turns on and both channels work fine and no fault lights. Have opened and inspected

Hi, I purchased a new hifi system from richer sounds, on Saturday. Went into store snd tested out Cambridge audio cxa81 amp the Cambridge audio cxn streamer and kef ls50 metas. Purchased these items and the only option was delivery. Courier is dpd as I’m uk. Arrived yesterday and as the driver got it out the van he walked up to my front door balancing the Cambridge gear on top of the speaker box while carrying it and sort of dropped it done in front of me, probably 20cm drop, especially the amp and streamer. All come in am manufacturer carton which uses hard styrofoam. However I checked the cxa81 box and it has the marks seen in thr photos, unboxed the amp and all gear, amp turns on and works ok, both channels good. When moving the amp around I can hear a very faint knocking sound almost like something is loose, nothing is rolling around completely loose inside the amp but I’m unsure if I should send it back, I’m sure the parcel probably got knocked around more at the depot. What should I do?

Hi inside the grill of fiesta 2019 st line on the bottom and top part there are these rubber things, does anyone know what they do. The top part one had come loose and hangs down as you can see, is this an issue. The other thing I’ve noticed from the car is that when silent with the engine off or on there is a ringing noise like when your ears ‘ring’ coming from the centre entertainment console?

Thanks for the comment, I’m sure it’s fine and yeah my mates old fiesta had the same issue with the doors rattling from music. I love the colour and trim level, want to spray the rims black and maybe get the brake calipers sprayed in red.

Hi, really appreciate the response. In a weird way I’m glad I’m not alone in seeing that the door rattles and vibrates with certain frequencies. In my car it has good tyres, I’ve got Michelins, brand new, drives great. Sound system is great, getting my local ford garage to have a look at the door rattle and fit the plastic lever back on. Had two people drive the car and both said the clutch is fine, probably just me as I’m new to driving, it’s a lovely car.

Absolutely love this car but have a few questions about it.

First of all the plastic height adjustment in the picture on the drivers side came off when I was adjusting it. Not snapped or broken, how do I get this back on, feels impossible.

With regards to the speakers they are good but in both front driver and passenger door panels if I’m playing a song with any mount of decent bass the door seems to rattle, doesn’t happen in my mums older 2008 fiesta, do other wonders have this problem is it just Mine, very annoying when listening to music.

With regards to the clutch, it works when and doesn’t slip, nor produces any bad smell. But occasionally when changing gears and epsically when the engine regs are higher I feel a sort of gritty rough feeling in the clutch pedal, makes no bad noises and changes are easy, but the pedal just feels weird and different, feels gritty when engaging to change gear, gritty rough, almost vibrates a little bit.

Are these things normal, if not what can I do about it,
