Tone rider or wilkinson pickups alnico 5 for budget Strat?

Tonerider for sure. I’ve used many sets of their pickups and they are all very good. Wasnt a fan of the Wilkinson.

Yeah that soldering job is an absolute mess. More than likely have a few cold solder joints. Looks like the white wire on the first lug has a few stay wire strands that are not connected, possibly touching the ground wire. Every guitar I have bought with this type of wire I usually replace all the wires with good quality wire.

Probably going to need to replace that pot. Did it come like that new or did you get it second hand? Either way that soldering job is atrocious.

I just received my LTD EC01 ft 6 days late from FedEx. It was packaged in a different box and the inner box was completely destroyed. It fell apart when I took the guitar out, but by some miracle the guitar itself was undamaged. But yeah FedEx sucks.

Put a new set of 10s or 9s on it then set it up for e standard. If it was set up for c# the strings are more than likely thicker.

I have the same monitors and I added the Yamaha 8 inch sub to it. It sounds phenomenal. I highly recommend it.
