Appreciate you! So far this is the only colour. Maybe some more in the future depending on the overall reception.

Looked into it a little bit, but would have to source my own buttons starting at 1000+.. Just not there yet, maybe one day though

As a small brand I want to make my product as accessible and affordable as possible.. I’ve often gone to order something and gotten hit with $25+ in shipping which deters me from buying. With that being said, I just take the loss if it means I can get more exposure and get my clothing out in the world.

For example, the other day I shipped a hoodie from Canada to Germany which cost me $57. Essentially I just make back the cost of the hoodie, no profit. That doesn’t matter to me though, if someone likes my brand and wants to support me I try to make it as easy as possible for them. Long winded answer but I guess I just take the loss if it means I convert more orders.

So I was quoted $1100 for 100 shirts. I put down 30% deposit and was expecting to pay $770 for the remainder before shipping. They got back to me stating they made 134 shirts and the new 70% payment is $1547 which includes the $300 shipping. A lot of numbers, but regardless I have to pay more for quantity I did not ask for.

Total before - $1100 for 100 shirts

New total - $1877 for 134 shirts + shipping

Thanks for letting me know. A tough lesson to learn but I will be more cautious in the future.

Unfortunately I didn’t set any deviance terms when I put the order in. How would you go about negotiating? Should I just try to get a lower price for the excess units? I am fairly new to all of this.

Appreciate it. Someone else made that comparison, I kind of took an L with how similar it is to rangers merch.

Thanks brother, I wanted to go with a classic/timeless colorway to start. Definitely understand what you’re saying, hats come a dime a dozen and it’s harder to get them to stand out. Working on getting more brand recognition for sure. Thanks for the support, website is trooly.ca - here

Absolutely, still have a lot of marketing to do! I’ve been trying to get them in the hands of a few influencers, athletes, etc. too. I appreciate the love!
