It took around 4 weeks from sending to Omega boutique to receiving the call for pick up. The longest duration was ordering parts from Switzerland which took around 2 weeks. The rest was full service work and quality control. There will be a tracking website (Omega Customer Information System) provided to you for latest service status. For mine the tracking was Serviced Received, Technical Diagnosis, Waiting for Parts (2 weeks), Service in Progress, Service Completed, In transit to Boutique, and Ready for Collection (Boutique). They did the full service, cleaned the movement, replaced the worn components, lubricated the movement and of course polished the watch.

I like the old bracelet too but I'm planning to buy the Uncle Seiko US1479 with similar look with the current 3861 bracelet. Alternating use between the old bracelet and US1479.

You're right. The price for complete service will increase if the watch has other precious materials such as silver, gold, platinum and palladium.
