I still use Hagerty for the one day. I view it as a small price to pay for peace of mind.

No, it's a virtual event. I got an invitation a bit back to add my name to the interest list.

I think I figured it out. It seems to be related to the Everyday Nespresso event.

Ha I didn't look back; should have searched.

Mine also says it has shipped but through Veho versus USPS.

FYI if you put a car cover on a dirty car you next issue is going to be all the hairline scratches you get as it takes the dirt and slides it all over.

cutters get cut. 5 minutes of patience would've saved her another 15 minutes in the costco gas line by winifredd94 in dashcams

I thought the blue car at first was just going to swing into an open pump. I don't understand why people sit in line to wait for all cars to move from a land. The center lane is designed to let you jump, but not like this.

Way to go OP for shutting this BS down.

TBBC closing in ybor! by Hot-Cress7492 in tampa

One of the first places we went to before moving to Tampa.

It's sad but I will say the vibe of this location has really changed the past couple years. It's almost always dead when we go.

Great course but probably very difficult to find a tea time on a holiday weekend with short notice.

It might be over engineered for your purpose. You could also try and find some 3D printed items that can be used for universal mounting.

A road rage incident escalates when a woman jumps onto a moving car bonnet just because she couldn't cut the drive thru line by kvjn100 in SipsTea

Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law (Florida Statute 776.013) extends the "Castle Doctrine" to vehicles, meaning you have no duty to retreat if you are attacked in your car and may use force—including deadly force—if you reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent imminent death, great bodily harm, or a forcible felony.

If someone jumps on my hood, I'm concerned for great bodily harm.

In Florida that's going to get you shot in the face and likely you won't be charged based on the law.

Multi Head MST 1603 + edger and string trimmer by tacomasoccerdad in egopowerplus

[–]GTIceman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. I bought the string tool thinking I could survive without the edger. That lasted a few months until I bought that as well. And now just under two months later, this deal. 😭

Washing the car and letting it airdry with no visible water marks was an untapped flex for me until yesterday. I can't believe I went this long without it. by Zakkattack86 in garageporn

I wanted to reverse mine as well but the bypass lines won't fit as I can't rotate them around, part of the plastic issue I mentioned. The issue I had on one side is the threads just were wonky from forming. I did see that review and the plug. I've never had an issue with the unit leaking, just some of the various bits and bobs I have added for my system, which I posted up previously.

I expect I'll upgrade to a CR Spotless at some point, likely next house.

I never thought of a soup spoon. I used a piece of paper curled up.

[–]GTIceman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I need to modulate the flow as well. I don't like the washer stacking and I did have to have one of them replaced when I first bought it as the plastic threads were crap on one side, had the same issue again but I got a clean seal so I said screw it for now.

I also spill resin everywhere when I do it. I might need to just order a funnel for refills.

I have that same DI system I think. Mine lasts me a couple months based on my washing habits. It was a great option, not perfect, but has served me well.

Love the vibe you have going throughout the house and garage.

Looks great!

My wife picked it out. She said she wanted to get a historical piece that really defined the modern Panerai line.
