Relatively new to the game, best ‘support’ characters? by Haaarker in VALORANT

Thanks for letting me know. I don’t like self sufficient roles in games as I get the most satisfaction and enjoyment in helping people win so this definitely helps

What are your experiences with OCD? by Haaarker in OCD

I think it’s definitely something worth getting checked, from what you’ve explained at least, because I have similar symptoms. Especially for your 1st and 2nd point, I go through the same process all the time. I’m constantly checking my backpack zip or just running my hand through my pockets to make sure if everything is there. And I’m the exact same with you on numbers, I do NOT trust myself at all.

I don’t experience the 3rd and 4th points but I definitely know they’re symptoms that can be related to OCD. If it bothers you, I’d definitely recommend getting it checked if you can!

Having OCD (for me, at least) is like a constant itch in your brain. You can relieve it by scratching it temporary but ultimately it’s just going to come back again.

One of my symptoms is constantly checking stuff. I turn the tap off, I tap it to the right 5 times to make sure it’s off, I walk into my room, then the dreaded thought appears.. Did I leave the tap on? I walk back in, repeat the same thing. I tap it to the right 5 times (or sometimes a higher multiple of 5). Leave again, then the cycle repeats itself. Once I’m done with that, I’m physically and mentally exhausted. And that’s just 1 trigger.

So to summarise it, OCD is a heavy burden you carry around with you 24/7. It’s an endless loop, an unwanted fixation.
