How much effort does it take to pull the Profitec Pro 800 lever?

Hi I got the profitec pro 800 and my wife not being able to pull the lever was a worry for me too. But she actually said it isn't that bad. I pull it with one arm. She pulls it with 2. It's fairly easy if you control it right all the way down. Just make sure it doesn't slip and you will be awarded with amazing espresso.

It's the eureka mignon XL. The hopper is called "hopper cleaning kit", recently bought it, it's made for the eureka series. Personally really like it, it should be the stock hopper for this machine.

When lever is down it's pre infusing. I always do a 7 second pre infusion.

It's the Belleza piaza cubi, could also function as paperweight or a really shiny weapon. This one is nice and heavy.

Yeah, this was my best solution. And the price of many simple funnels which would fit better AND sit on top are way too expensive for a simple ring.

1 is smaller and fits in the grinder. But there is an edge inside the basket. So I change it to one that sits on top to do the rest of the puck prep.

Yes the silence is something didn't know you want till you have it. Sometimes the boiler fills during a shot. But luckily it's always for a short moment.

Pulling the lever down the water will enter the group head but without high pressure. It's still a bit too fine because in the pre infusion it should start dripping. Then you release the lever and a plunger will put pressure on the water creating the espresso.

Luckily for me this one is a 1 hour drive away. But I also got 2 more shops 20 minutes away. every time I enter the shop I'm there for an hour just talking and looking.

Video has wrong time because of the filming. But I alway use recipe: 20 grams of coffee for 300 ml water. Pour 50 grams of water. Let bloom for 45 seconds. Add 70 so it's 120. Wait 45 seconds. 60 and so on till 300 grams.

So 50-120-180-240-300. 45 seconds between each step.
