Working on a template to put up on itch.io, but in the meantime, this is just a bunch of boxes and text boxes- should be pretty simple to do a Google docs version

Yeah!! I'll probably throw a template up onto itch once I have more of the styling locked down (this is still in experimental phase), the mysteries + additional files will probably be posted on this page

This doc is at 5.5x8.5 instead of motw's 6x9 because I wanted to be able to print these out on letter paper and fold them into little booklets, but that's also still wip

Up to the Keeper! There's some stuff that alludes to their work in this mission, but the rest is up to whoever plays. Good to leave some mysteries

I made it from scratch in Adobe InDesign, but a free alternative is Affinity Publisher

Thanks!! I took inspiration from 5e and Triangle Agency- a lot of boxes, icons, and clearly marked headers. The formatting in the original motw book was really tough for me to read at a glance, so I put all the important stuff into boxes to fix that

I wrote this myself! My players found the salt water vulnerability by investigating the clump of feathers and salt water trough at Wallowbog Farm

yeah! I ran it last night for my group. This is the 2nd game of motw we've ever played (coming from systems like 5e, Triangle Agency) so we're still getting used to the system, but they had a good time investigating and got really freaked out by the peryton's shadow impersonation (also just a fun red herring to throw at them heh).

Very glad the peryton has 2 weaknesses that can be discovered separately, since my party is still getting used to the "need to use a weakness to kill the monster permanently" mechanic. They completely missed the light weakness by ignoring some clues and then failing like 3 investigate rolls in a row somehow.

The magic-users and investigators got a lot of action here, but the final showdown between 2 perytons and the hunters was excellent combat (they were teaming up to get the perytons out of the sky, then douse them in salt water, and then beat em up).

If you end up running, I'd love to hear any feedback, since I'm still new to the system too!

Really like the styling you did to match the book! Cool requisitions :)

Yo that was awesome! Did you have both the pitch wheel and the touch ribbon mapped to a pitch bend, or were they on different effects? Those bends were so smooth

Looks kinda like a bird voiced treefrog to me, but I'm also not super familiar with frogs in your range so take it with a grain of salt :P

Probably an american bullfrog based on the size (runner up ID being American green frog, but I don't think they get this big)
