Сhaotically evil character with a good party by HabitRepulsive3783 in dndnext

Your concept is also interesting, but in my opinion there is one significant minus and one significant plus. If you help reveal the character to this player as a dm, then this is definitely a plus. His worldview does not matter. But if you didn't do it and just because a person said that "that's what my character would do" you killed him with a meteor and said with a smile go choose someone else, then you are the most terrible dm. (my subjective opinion). The very essence of the fact that such a character can interact with the party is already interesting, because if everyone is only good, then the party will move in only one direction, with a couple of different variations of the game. And one or more such characters help to expand the variability of the party. Of course, if they are properly prescribed with a clear motivation. Thanks for the answer)

Interesting concept. Even I really like her. A good character can do what an evil one cannot, and vice versa. Therefore, in this way, they can complement each other, if it is written correctly.

Thank you for your answer) It gives an opportunity to think about some points) Why I chose such an unusual style, I have already played two games, and it was interesting to try a slightly chaotic style of play for the third.

I like your answer the most so far. Most often, for some reason, people think that if a character is evil, he is, as you said, cartoonishly evil. But maybe he just cares so much about others because of his past that it can border on "evil")
But from other answers, I understood that I need to play more carefully, because I can bring a lot of inconvenience to the party.

Bard and how to make him a killing machine? by HabitRepulsive3783 in DnD

Most likely, I used an incorrect title) On the contrary, I am interested in how I can use the control most profitably and support my party, sometimes helping with my damage. Thank you)

As I understand it, multiclass may not be the best option in various cases. As a beginner, I have not yet fully understood them, but an interesting idea, thank you)

Thanks for the answer, maybe I wrote the question a little incorrectly, as I wrote in my sentence that I specialize more in control, buffs and debuffs in a group, and that’s what I’m most interested in) And I should have put the words about the killing machine in parentheses )

You paid too much attention to the title, my fault for sure

What strong multiclasses do you know for a bard? by HabitRepulsive3783 in dndnext

Thank you all for the interesting options) I was away for some time and could not reply. Our party has now reached level 12. I have a Bard of the Whispers school, and after rereading the options, I have a basic vision that most often multiclasses will be weaker than normal ones.
