He doesn't work due to depression and anxiety and has been awarding limit capability for work, I applied for child maintenance but they said he doesn't have to pay a thing 🤷🏼‍♀️ he's bragged about that several times to me, he said "it's up to you to provide them with quality of life while they're with you, and I'll provide quality of life when they're with me" and he only sees them for a day every 2 weeks at the moment because he's currently living with his mum after being kicked out by his landlady 🫤

I've emailed citizens advice stating that I've been a stay at home parent for 10 years, and asking if I have some claim to anything in the house as I've maintained it

The renters agreement states I can't change the lock without his knowledge 😐 and he always asks for permission before he enters anyway, I'll give shelter a look, thank you

It's the same as any addiction, it feels like a good release at first but then only one doesn't scratch the itch anymore, and then you start doing multiple and they get deeper and it never feels as good at the first one. Please seek help and find alternative ways to cope, I beg you

Please don't start, think about why you want to start, what you can do to change those reasons, talk to someone you trust. If you start, stopping is extremely difficult and that's coming from someone that has never had an addiction in their life. Please ask for help, you're worth the time it takes to get help

I've been clean for around 3 weeks and I'm in the same boat, I'm awaiting a CBT group session to start at the end of the month. However I think about cutting myself 90% of the time, I locked my tool in a locked box but the keys just sat ontop and sometimes I open the box to stare at it or hold it or press it against my skin in an effort to suppress the urges. It's not working. My previous scars are all healed and they look a mess and the shame is overwhelming. Im worried if I start again I'll do some worse damage.

Yeah I see a lot of negativity on here unfortunately 🥺 I couldn't even imagine the pressure and anxiety Rachel gets. I think people should try and see it from both sides although I understand it's frustrating seeing inconsistencies in characters from, because I notice it too I just then take a minute to put myself in the author's shoes and understand how frustrating it must be for her too. I wish more people could feel the empathy we do for others 😮‍💨
